6.6 Register to Main Menu

Back to TOC Complete Step By Step Joomla Programming

In order to make the visitor is easy to access the component; we need to register it to the menu. Here are the steps:

1. Open Main Menu Manager through the Menus > Main Menu menu.
2. Click the New button in the upper toolbar.
3. You will get the menu type that is already available. Choose Hello Jogja as in the picture 6.10.
4. Next, you will get the menu item register form. Fill its Title and Alias as in the picture 6.11.
5. Click the Save button.

You have already made new menu item for Main Menu. Now, open front end. Watch, the new menu item appears in Main Menu.
