PHP Array: Removing Duplicate Array Elements



PHP Array Tips - Part 15: Do you want to remove all duplicate elements to obtain a unique set? You can use array_unique() like this:
<?php
$arr = array("zero","zero","zero","one", "two", "three", "four", "five", "six");

$arr2 = array_unique($arr);
print_r($arr2);
// result: Array ( [0] => zero [3] => one [4] => two [5] => three [6] => four [7] => five [8] => six )
?>
