Are you getting many projects? Have done with many experience yourself project? Did you upgrade computer for several in a year? If, yes, I sure you always get pressure from file management. We must back up many files (php project always have hundred files) and place right back up. We want simple, if we can, just at one place. Easy to move and place when we get new pc :).How we can do it simple (especialy related with project team)?

We can place all file at cute folder named "projects". Then burn it. It is simple way. But, it will face a trouble when our files are very large. We must manage again which placed at dvd 1, 2,.. and soon. It is not practice!

In my circumstance work, I work with a team in a project. We split many task each persons. How to manage back up? We use a single folder each projects at server. Every pc synchronizes to folder server at particular time. Then, server will do back up.

What we need now is automatic synchronize with server at periodic time. Then, back up system will detect how big our file and do smart split. It is important, because we don't want to spent time to manage all file.

To ensure all person finish their synchronize, we build small application to check. We don't want any missing.

We need simple and practice step to do this job. There are few softwares for backup system. I found and try simple software like this. It is like match with what we need. They named Backup platinum. what do I like? They have options to set any other program to run before or after processing an item. Really nice feature. So, before do automatically back up, we can run our software to check that all person have finished their synchronize. Then, with this software, we can specify several setting such as split options. There is nice feature, according me: ulti-threaded transfer engine that executes backups in the background with minimum system resource consumption.

Ok, what do you think?
